Albania: passport and entry requirements
Albania isn't in the EU or the Schengen area, so a UK family visits visa-free on its own 90-day allowance, and the passport just needs three months left on it after you leave.

Your passport
Your passport just needs at least three months left on it after the day you plan to leave, with no ten-year issue-date test like the EU countries apply. Children's passports need those same three months, so go through each family member's separately, whatever their age, and renew any that are running low.
Getting in
There's no visa for a holiday, and you can stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Albania isn't in the Schengen area, so this is a separate allowance, and time here doesn't use up the 90 days you're allowed across the Schengen countries, most of the EU plus a few neighbours.
There's no digital border registration either, so your passport is stamped at the border in the usual way.
Every child needs their own passport, however young, since none can travel on a parent's.
