Saint Lucia: passport and entry requirements
Saint Lucia is visa-free for a holiday, and everyone only needs a passport valid past the day you plan to leave. You're given six weeks on arrival, so a longer stay means arranging an extension.

Your passport
Your passport only has to be valid past the day you plan to leave, so any in-date one that covers the trip will do. Everyone still travels on their own, no matter how young, and since a child's passport lasts five years against an adult's ten they rarely expire together. Check each when you book and leave time for any renewal, which takes weeks.
Getting in
You don't need a visa to visit Saint Lucia, and you're allowed to stay for up to six weeks. For anything longer you'll need an extension from the Immigration Department in Castries, the capital. Everyone fills in the online immigration form no more than three days before you arrive, and you can also do it on arrival, on paper or electronically.
Every child needs their own passport, however young, valid as long as the adults'. Each one also needs their own immigration form, filled in with their own details.
