Seychelles: passport and entry requirements
Seychelles sets no minimum passport-validity rule, and there's no visa for a holiday. Everyone does need a paid travel authorisation arranged online before you fly, one for each traveller including the children.

Your passport
Seychelles doesn't set a minimum number of months on your passport. It only needs to be valid for the length of your stay, so a passport close to its expiry can still be fine as long as it covers your dates. Check the whole family's passports when you book all the same, since a child's runs out sooner than an adult's.
Getting in
There's no visa for Seychelles, but you do need a Travel Authorisation before you travel, applied for online through the official Seychelles Electronic Border System. It works like the online entry approvals other countries use, arranged in advance rather than stamped on arrival. You can apply up to 30 days ahead. It's processed within about a day, and there's a fee of about €12 a person (last checked August 2026).
When you land you're given a visitor's permit free of charge, which covers an initial three months. Carry your return ticket, accommodation details and enough money for the trip, as you can be asked for them at the border.
Every child needs their own passport, from the very youngest, valid for the length of the stay. Each one also needs their own Travel Authorisation, applied for separately and at the full adult fee.
