Disneyland Paris has confirmed that Mickey and the Magician won’t be performed at any point in 2027. The show’s home, the Animagique Theatre in World Premiere Plaza at Disney Adventure World, is closing for a major refurbishment. Disney says the work will take several months, and it’s expected to last through the rest of the year. No return date has been announced.
The last performance is on 10 January 2027, and the theatre closes to visitors from 11 January. That puts the show out of reach for every UK school holiday in 2027, from February half-term through the summer to Christmas. Families visiting this autumn, over Christmas or in the first days of January can still see it.
A seated indoor show with Mickey
Mickey and the Magician is a 30-minute musical stage show. Mickey plays a magician’s apprentice whose attempts at magic lead into scenes and songs from several Disney films. It’s indoors and seated, so with young children it’s a chance to sit down out of the weather in the middle of a park day.
Shows elsewhere carry on
Only the Animagique Theatre is affected. Disney says there will still be shows and entertainment across both parks while the work goes on, and the Disneyland Paris app lists each day’s programme. Disney hasn’t said what the refurbishment involves or what will be performed in the theatre when it reopens.
This story was updated in October 2026, when Disneyland Paris confirmed the date of the final performance.
