Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom now has a date to reopen after its refurbishment. The Frontierland water ride closes on 2 November 2026, and Walt Disney World’s refurbishment calendar lists it back on 18 December. The ride’s page on Disney’s website says it is expected to reopen in December.

That puts the ride out of action for about six and a half weeks, including the week of Thanksgiving on 26 November and the first half of December. It is due back a week before Christmas. Tiana’s Bayou General Store, the shop at the ride’s exit, closes for the same period.

This is the first long closure since the ride opened in June 2024, replacing Splash Mountain. Disney hasn’t said what work it will do. The height requirement is 40 in (102 cm).

Elsewhere in Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad is due to start running again on 30 October after five weeks closed. It still runs only between Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland.

We do our best to get this right. If something here looks wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
