Disney Village, the free-to-enter street of restaurants, shops and the cinema between the Disneyland Paris parks and the Disney hotels, is being rebuilt in stages. In September 2026 Disneyland Paris set out the next steps. Work on the north side of the street is nearly finished and building work on the south side starts in 2027. Rainforest Café will close permanently by the end of 2026, and Disney hasn’t announced its last day.
New shops and restaurants
Disney Wonders, a large shop with merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars films, opened on 22 September 2026.
Casa Giulia, an Italian restaurant from the company behind Brasserie Rosalie, is due to open by the end of 2026. It has two floors, about 260 seats inside and 120 on the terrace, plus Giulia Express, a counter for food to take away.
Annette’s Diner, the 1950s American diner, is closed for a full refurbishment and reopens in the first quarter of 2027. Vapiano’s interior is being redesigned from late 2026, with a children’s play area upstairs, and should be finished early in 2027.
The cinema and Christmas
The Pathé cinema is being refurbished in phases from September 2026, so it can stay mostly open while the work goes on, and the full refresh finishes in 2027. Christmas decorations go up across Disney Village from November.
