The horse-drawn streetcars on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park have closed for good. They stopped carrying visitors on 1 October 2026, and Disneyland Paris hasn’t announced anything to replace them.

The streetcars had run since the park opened in 1992. Percheron horses, kept at a backstage farm near Frontierland, pulled the cars along Main Street between Town Square and Central Plaza, the hub in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The horses are retiring. They are going to new stables, most of them back to where they came from. Disney hasn’t said what will happen to the streetcars themselves.

We do our best to get this right. If something here looks wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
